The Wallpaper

This non-woven wall covering is designed for durability, ease of installation, and a refined, textile-like finish.

It offers excellent strength and tear resistance, particularly when wet, and is easier to handle, hang and remove than traditional paper wallpapers.

For best results, we recommend professional installation.

Preparation

• Ensure walls are clean, dry and smooth

• Remove any existing wallpaper and loose paint

• Lightly sand painted surfaces to create a suitable key

• For best results, cross-line walls using a good quality lining paper

• Allow the lining paper to dry completely before hanging the wallpaper

• Sizing the lining paper will help improve adhesion

Pasting & Hanging

This is a paste-the-wall wallpaper:

• Apply paste directly to the wall, not the back of the wallpaper

• Use a high-quality, solvent-free, ready-mixed adhesive suitable for non-woven wall coverings

• Apply paste evenly to an area slightly wider than the width of one drop

• Hang one length at a time

Hanging the Wallpaper

• Hang using butt joints (edges placed directly together, not overlapped)

• Use a decorator’s brush to smooth the wallpaper from the centre outwards, removing air bubbles

• Take care not to push paste out through the seams

• Keep hands clean and dry during installation

• Avoid getting paste on the surface of the wallpaper

Important Handling Notes

• Paste can damage the surface of the wallpaper

• If paste comes into contact with the surface, remove it immediately using a clean, damp sponge

• Do not rub or scrub the surface

Cutting & Pattern Matching

• Use a sharp blade and metal edge for trimming

• Change blades regularly to avoid tearing the paper

• Cut carefully to maintain pattern alignment

• Take care when matching the design across drops

• Professional installation is strongly recommended

• This wallpaper is designed to be easier to install and remove than traditional paper-based wall coverings

• The non-woven structure gives a more substantial, textile-like appearance
