At Fiona McTaggart, every wallpaper and fabric design is produced with great care and attention to detail.

As all wallpaper and fabric products are made to order, this Returns Policy explains your rights and how returns, cancellations, faults, and damages are handled in accordance with UK consumer law.

1. Overview of Return Eligibility

Different return rules apply depending on the type of product purchased.

✔ Made-to-Order Wallpaper & Fabric

Not eligible for return unless:

- faulty

- damaged during delivery

- materially different from the approved order

✔ Samples

Samples are non-refundable unless faulty or damaged on arrival.

These policies comply with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

2. Made-to-Order Wallpaper & Fabric (Non-Returnable)

All wallpaper and fabric products are printed individually to order.

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, made-to-order and personalised goods are exempt from standard cancellation and return rights once production has begun.

This includes:

- wallpaper rolls

- fabric by the metre

- custom printed orders

- bespoke scale or colour variations where applicable

Because products are printed specifically for each order:

- orders cannot usually be cancelled once production has started

- returns are not accepted for change of mind

- slight colour and scale variations may occur between print runs

We strongly recommend ordering samples before placing larger orders.

Customers are responsible for checking measurements, quantities, colours, and suitability before purchase.

As products are printed in batches, slight colour variations may occur between different print runs. We therefore recommend ordering all required quantities at the same time.

3. Samples

Samples are intended as guides for colour, texture, and scale only.

Please note:

- samples may not show the full repeat of a design

- colours may vary slightly between print runs

- screen settings can affect colour appearance

Samples are non-refundable unless faulty or damaged during delivery.

We strongly recommend viewing samples in the intended room and lighting conditions before placing a full order.

4. Wallpaper Installation & Product Inspection

Customers are responsible for inspecting wallpaper and fabric carefully before cutting, hanging, installation, or treatment.

We cannot accept liability for:

- installation costs

- decorator fees

- consequential losses

- products that have already been cut, hung, treated, or installed

Professional installation is strongly recommended for all wallpaper products.

We are not responsible for issues arising from:

- incorrect installation methods

- unsuitable adhesives

- inadequate wall preparation

- environmental conditions within the installation space

5. Reporting Faults or Delivery Damage

If your order arrives damaged or faulty, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Include:

- your order number

- photographs of the issue

- photographs of packaging where relevant

- a brief description of the problem

Where appropriate, we may:

- replace the item

- reprint the order

- offer a repair solution

- provide a refund where replacement is not possible

We reserve the right to request return of faulty goods before issuing refunds or replacements.

6. Delivery Issues

Customers are responsible for ensuring that shipping and delivery details are accurate at the time of ordering.

We are not responsible for:

- delays caused by couriers

- customs processing delays

- failed deliveries due to incorrect customer information

- delays caused by events outside our control

International customers may be responsible for customs duties, taxes, or import charges within their destination country.

7. Cancellations

7.1 Made-to-Order Wallpaper & Fabric

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, made-to-order products cannot usually be cancelled once production has begun.

You may request cancellation within 24 hours of placing your order.

After this point:

- production preparation may have begun

- materials may have been allocated

- printing schedules may have been confirmed

and cancellation may no longer be possible.

8. Refunds

8.1 Made-to-Order Wallpaper & Fabric

Because wallpaper and fabric are produced individually to order, refunds are available only if:

- the product is faulty

- the item arrives damaged

- the item is materially different from the approved order

If a fault is confirmed, we may:

- replace the item

- reprint the order

- offer a refund where replacement is not possible

Refunds will be processed to the original payment method.

8.2 Samples

Samples are non-refundable unless faulty or damaged on arrival.

9. Non-Refundable Situations

We cannot offer refunds for:

- change of mind

- incorrect quantity ordered by the customer

- slight colour variation between print runs

- screen-to-print colour differences

- dissatisfaction after installation

- incorrect installation methods

- products already cut, treated, hung, or installed

- customer measurement errors

- normal variation in printed textiles and wallpapers

10. Exchanges

Because all wallpaper and fabric products are made to order, we generally do not offer exchanges.

If an item arrives faulty or incorrect, we will work with you to resolve the issue appropriately through replacement, reprint, or refund where applicable.
