Decorex 2025: New Work
Fiona McTaggart presented new work at Decorex, as part of the Making Spaces area — a curated section highlighting contemporary makers and material-led design.
The stand brought together wallpaper and fabric designs, allowing the work to be experienced at scale. Patterns that begin as small, hand-built collages were translated into immersive surfaces within an interior setting.
Presented within the Making Spaces section, the work sat alongside other contemporary practices and was seen by interior designers, specifiers, and industry professionals — offering a broader context for the work beyond the studio.
Working within this environment highlighted the relationship between material, pattern, and interior space — bridging the gap between studio practice and applied design.
Exhibiting at Decorex marked an important step in bringing the work into conversation with the interior design industry.
